Bodie, the Sacramento Police Dog that was shot by a suspect yesterday, rests at the VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center in Rancho Cordova. His condition has been upgraded from critical to serious and stable.

Following a dramatic rescue and nearly two years of rehabilitation these bottleneck dolphins are ready for release. Tom and Misha were rescued by wildlife charity Born Free after spending six years in a small, filthy pool in Hisaronu, Turkey.
